HOW TO USE

Welcome and thank you for trying Scorekeeper Mega during the Alpha build stage. Things will only get better as time goes on. If you see a bug or have a suggestion, please drop me a message at: skm@rustyhowell.com

Common Interface

• Greyed Out Screens - Tap anywhere in the grey area to close
• Overflowing information (names/scores) can be slid back and forth to see all of the details

Main Interface Buttons

• HOW TO USE / INFO - Info Page: You Are Here.
• ERASE DATA - Erases all stored Active players names and scores. Does NOT delete your Quick Names list.

Individual Player Buttons

• Player Order - Choose player order number (duplicates allowed for grouping) or choose "OUT" to indicate player elimination
• Player Name - Edit the Player's Name / Player Color / Delete the Player
• Player Score - Opens direct score entry to add/remove the value entered from the players score for the currently active round
• Plus/Minus - Instantly Adds/Subtracts one point from the player's score for the currently active round
• History Open/Close - Open's the round/category list for the player to show scores per round/category. NOTE: Clicking on a specific round/category in the history will allow you to directly alter the score for that specific round/category by opening the direct score entry screen.

Add/Edit Player Screen

• Player Name - This will open the Quick Names list allowing you to Add / Select / Delete Names and Color combinations from the Quick List.
Tapping the name in the list will select the name and color for the Player Name Edit screen. Tapping the +Name entry at the top will add the current name and color combination to the quick list. Tapping Delete will cause the list to start to shake and delete names on the quick list that you tap on. Clicking in the greyed out area of the screen will close the Quick Names list.

Direct Score Entry Screen

• =0 - Enters a value that will cause the players score to be 0 either in total (making the active round/category equal to a value that will negate all other points in all other rounds/categories) if launched from the total score value or 0 for that round/category if launched from the round/category score.
• +1/+5/+25 - Quick button to add 1/5/25 points to the value at the top of the screen.
• −1/−5/−25 - Quick button to subtract 1/5/25 points from the value at the top of the screen.
• CLR - Resets the value at the top of the screen to 0
• +/− - TOGGLES the value at the top of the screen between positive and negative. NOTE: 0 is always positive.

HINTS/TIPS

WEB APP!: Did you know that you can save this page as a Web App on your iPhone for local offline usage and easy access? Just click on the share icon at the bottom of the browser and choose "Add to Home Screen". Note: Data stored on the browser version will not transfer over to the Web App version as each type has its own unique storage of data.

Quick Save/Load Names: Tap the name in the Add/Edit player screen to bring up the Quick menu.

Edit Round Scores: You can tap on the score for a specific round in a player history and edit that specific round's score for that player.

Overflowing information: You can drag left and right on boxes that have too much information in them to see all the details.

Change a players turn order: You can tap on a player's turn order number to adjust it.

Keyboards: Did you know that external keyboards are supported? You can type in the name and score editing screens.

DATA POLICY

This site/application utilizes HTML Local Storage capabilites for storing data.

Without this feature, it is possible that data may be lost due to unforseen refreshes of the site/application.

There are no cookies, advertising or tracking abilities utilized. All data is stored locally.
